COMPLIANCE / EVIDENCE LIBRARY

Evidence that follows the model.

The YAMATIK document conversation is organised by model, standard, scope and target market so a buyer can review the right evidence before making a claim.

Short answerThe supplied documents include Malaysian SIRIM and ISO records, a BETA UK test report, and listed-model IEC/CE documents. Component and module reports remain component evidence.

Confirmed document scope.

These are the public-safe descriptions of the supplied evidence. The complete report or certificate should be reviewed for any specific purchase, country or configuration.

UK / IRELAND ROUTE

BS 1363-2 report

Report LCSA072723085S001 covers BETA-103-EN, BETA-104-EN and BETA-105-EN against BS 1363-2:2016+A1:2018.

Edition status: BSI lists BS 1363-2:2023 as the current release and shows the 2016+A1:2018 edition as withdrawn on 30 June 2026. Check BSI's standard record ↗

Listed models and market review.

The supplied IEC report and CE conformity document name a defined multiple cord extension set model list. The IEC report uses IEC 60884-1 and IEC 60884-2-7 and records Poland national differences; the CE document references LVD Directive 2014/35/EU. This is not a blanket EU claim for every range.

Component evidence stays scoped

USB module, non-rewirable plug, PVC wire, switch, transformer, surge protector, material and UL records support component or module review. They do not automatically certify a finished YAMATIK product. Request the exact pack for review ↗

A buyer checklist for document review.

Before relying on a test report or certificate for a purchase, check that the evidence matches the product you intend to order—not only a similar family name or a component used inside it.

01 / IDENTITY

Match the exact model

Compare the manufacturer, model designation and suffix on the document with the quotation and product specification. If a suffix or variant differs, ask for written confirmation that it is included in scope.

02 / PRODUCT SCOPE

Check what was evaluated

Confirm whether the record concerns the complete power strip or only a component or module. A component record alone is not evidence that the finished assembly is covered.

03 / CONFIGURATION

Compare the ordered build

Check the plug, cable, socket arrangement and options against the document wherever they are identified. Do not assume an unlisted change is covered; request a scope clarification.

04 / MARKET & STANDARD

Read conditions and limits

Confirm the destination market, named standard and edition, national differences and stated conditions. One report should not be treated as a blanket claim for every market or product range.

05 / ISSUER

Verify the record

Request the complete current document and check its number and status with the issuing body or its official directory where available. For UL-related records, use UL Solutions Product iQ; other schemes have their own issuers and lookup routes.

06 / ORDER ALIGNMENT

Keep the purchase file consistent

Align the quotation, approved specification, purchase order, label and sample to the same model and configuration. Record any unresolved scope question before order approval.

YAMATIK evidence is model- and market-specific

Request the complete document pack for the shortlisted model and destination, then review the report or certificate itself. This checklist helps structure a procurement review; it is not a regulatory determination or a substitute for checking the applicable requirements for your market.

Buyer questions, answered.

Does a component test report certify a complete power strip?

No. A component or module report is evidence for that component or module; it does not by itself certify a finished YAMATIK product. Match the finished-product model, configuration, destination market and applicable document scope before making a compliance claim.

Which YAMATIK models are named in the UK BS 1363-2 test report?

The supplied report LCSA072723085S001 names BETA-103-EN, BETA-104-EN and BETA-105-EN against BS 1363-2:2016+A1:2018. It should not be treated as evidence for models that are not named in the report.

What Malaysia certification evidence is listed?

The supplied SIRIM Product Certification Licence PC013930 covers 13A portable socket-outlets with cable and plug under MS 589-2:2018. Ask for the complete current licence and confirm that the exact model and configuration under review are within its scope.

Does the IEC or CE document apply to every YAMATIK product?

No. The supplied IEC report and CE conformity document name a defined model list. Review the exact listed model, configuration and destination-market requirements; the documents do not establish a blanket claim for every YAMATIK range.

What should I do if the model suffix or configuration differs from the report?

Do not assume the difference is covered. Ask the supplier or issuing body for written confirmation that the exact model and ordered configuration fall within the document's scope before approving the order.

Does one test report confirm approval in every destination market?

No. Review the standard, edition, model list, conditions and any national differences shown in the document, then confirm the requirements that apply to the specific destination market.

Does the listed BS 1363-2 report reference the current edition?

The supplied report identifies BS 1363-2:2016+A1:2018 for the three models named above. BSI now lists BS 1363-2:2023 as the current release and shows the 2016+A1:2018 edition as withdrawn on 30 June 2026. This edition-status comparison does not determine whether a particular existing report is sufficient for a product, certification process, buyer requirement or shipment. Before approving an order, request the complete report and written, model- and configuration-specific confirmation of the evidence applicable to the destination. Check Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland and other EU destinations against their applicable requirements; this page is not a regulatory determination. See BSI's current standard record ↗

Does ISO 9001 certify a specific power-strip model?

No. ISO 9001 specifies requirements for an organization's quality management system; it is not a model-specific product conformity document. For a product purchase, review the applicable product declaration and test or certification evidence separately, matching each record to the exact model, configuration and destination. Check the management-system certificate's named organization, scope, site, issuing body and current status as well. ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026. ISO/TC 176 transition guidance gives organizations already certified to ISO 9001:2015 until 30 September 2029 to complete their transition; confirm the applicable schedule with the certification body. This explainer does not confirm the current status of any YAMATIK certificate or product. See ISO 9001's current edition and transition guidance ↗ and ISO's buyer FAQ explaining management-system certification scope ↗.
